Missions and Outreach
At Redeemer, we firmly believe that the gospel is something that we are called to make known to the world. That is why we are active in a number of different ministries that show the love of Christ through acts of love and the proclamation of the gospel.
Below, you'll find info on our mission trips and outreach opportunities.
"Inviting all people to become students, believers, and followers of Jesus Christ."
Redeemer sends mission teams out into the United States and internationally. Trips in previous years have included Belize, Nicaragua, Honduras, Detroit, Minneapolis, and beyond.
Learn more below about the annual Honduras Mission Trip and Summer Mission Trip.
2020 Honduras Mission Trip
The trip to Honduras occurs annually in January. The mission includes both a one week and a two week opportunity. You will take part in medical clinics, witnessing, and distribution of school supplies.
The first week’s mission is typically to La Camp, Honduras and the second week is typically to La Ceibita, Honduras.
The team asks for prayer partners before, during, and after their mission trip. They would like to thank you for all your prayers and support for this mission. Contact the church office for more info or to be a part of this mission.
2019 Summer Mission Trip
The annual summer mission trip is often to Detroit or a similar regional location. In 2018, the team travelled to East Bethlehem Detroit for one week.
The trip included painting the sanctuary and hosting a community BBQ. We often partner with a church or mission organization in the chosen destination to effectively minister to the community.
Please prayerfully consider if God is calling you to join us on this summer mission trip. Contact the church office, (906) 228-9883, to get further details in the weeks leading up to the month of June.
Every year in August, Redeemer hosts a National Night Out Block Party. All members and those in the surrounding communities are welcome for food, games for the kids, and live music. All free! The Block Party is typically held outdoors but is moved inside in case of rain. View the latest video from the previous Block Party.
The annual Fall Festival is the Saturday before October 31. The afternoon is filled with fun games and activities for kids of all ages. Food is provided and non-scary costumes are encouraged.
Watch the weekly announcements in October for further details and volunteer opportunities.
